Lavndr Living, S.L. ("Lavndr", "we", "us") is a company incorporated in Spain. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you use lavndrliving.com and related services (the "Platform"). Contact: privacy@lavndrliving.com.
This Policy is drafted to comply with: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR); Spain's Ley Orgánica 3/2018 (LOPDGDD); the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 for UK-based users; Spain's LSSI-CE for electronic communications and cookies; and applicable US state privacy laws where relevant. Where local law gives you stronger rights, local law controls.
Account data (name, email, phone); profile data (photos, bio, self-declared age bracket rather than an exact date of birth, languages, lifestyle preferences); identity data including gender identity, sexual orientation/identity path and pronouns, collected because matching people is the core purpose of the Platform; listing details for Housing, Homeshare, Coliving, Community and Travel; identity verification data processed by our verification provider (we store only the verification outcome, not raw ID documents or biometrics); payment data (processed by Stripe — we never store full card numbers); messages and communications; content you upload.
Usage data, device/technical data, approximate location, and — only if you opt in — precise GPS location for the "nearby" feature, always shown to others as a fuzzy distance band, never exact coordinates.

We rely on: performance of a contract (creating your account, showing listings, processing payments); explicit consent (for gender identity, sexual orientation, marketing, and the optional GPS feature); legitimate interests (fraud prevention, security, product improvement); and legal obligation (accounting, responding to lawful authority requests). You can withdraw consent at any time, though this may limit some features.
To operate the Platform; to verify identity and reduce impersonation/fraud, including displaying a verification badge; to process payments; to send transactional and (if opted in) marketing communications; to moderate uploaded images and content; to investigate reports of suspicious or fraudulent accounts; to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your sexual orientation or gender identity data for advertising targeting.
Lavndr uses scoring to help surface relevant listings and users, as a discovery aid only. These scores don't automatically approve, reject or exclude anyone, and don't produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. Every meaningful decision is made by a human user.
Service providers: Supabase (hosting), Stripe (payments and identity verification), Resend (email delivery), Google (Calendar API, Maps, Cloud Vision for image moderation), Lovable (application platform). Other users: information in your public profile and listings is visible to other users. Legal and safety disclosures: where required by law, or to protect rights, property or safety.
Some providers (Stripe, Google) are based in or transfer data to the United States. Where we transfer data outside the EEA/UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent approved safeguards.
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You can lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD, www.aepd.es), the UK ICO (www.ico.org.uk), or your own EU member state's supervisory authority. Contact privacy@lavndrliving.com to exercise any of these rights — we respond within one month.
We retain data only as long as necessary: account/profile data for the life of your account plus a limited period after closure for dispute and fraud handling; payment records per applicable tax law; messages and application history for the life of the account unless deletion is requested and no legal ground requires retention.
We apply technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and row-level security policies restricting who can read or write data. No system is completely secure.
Lavndr is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
