These Terms govern your access to and use of lavndrliving.com and related services (the "Platform"), operated by Lavndr Living, S.L. ("Lavndr", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in Spain. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years old. You must provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date. You're responsible for your account's security. One person, one account. Notify us immediately at security@lavndrliving.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
Lavndr is a marketplace and community platform providing the technology for members to list, discover, message and transact across Housing, Community Living, Companionship, Travel, Coliving and the Professional Directory. Lavndr is NOT a landlord, letting agent or party to any tenancy or homeshare agreement between users; not an employer or party to arrangements with Professional Directory listings; not a travel agent or party to bookings between hosts/operators and guests; not a verifier of the truthfulness of what a user posts, beyond the specific identity-verification check described below. Arrangements between users are agreements between those users — Lavndr is not a party to them. Users creating listings are responsible for complying with applicable housing law (e.g. UK Equality Act 2010, US Fair Housing Act).
Lavndr offers optional paid identity verification. A "Verified" badge means the user completed a document and biometric check at a point in time, and it matched a government-issued ID. It does NOT mean we've verified their intentions, character, or the truthfulness of anything else in their profile — and it does not mean Lavndr endorses or guarantees any interaction with that user. Verification meaningfully reduces, but cannot eliminate, impersonation risk.
You agree not to: impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, age or affiliation; create a fake profile or use another person's photos/identity without consent; use the Platform to defraud, scam, or solicit money under false pretences; direct other users to pay outside the Platform's protected flows as part of a deceptive scheme; harass, threaten, stalk or discriminate against another user; post unlawful or exploitative content; scrape or reverse-engineer the Platform; circumvent verification, payment or safety features. Violating this section is grounds for immediate account suspension or termination, and referral to law enforcement where conduct is unlawful.
Lavndr connects people who may not have met before, often around arrangements involving real trust — housing, homeshare, companionship. We take reasonable steps to reduce impersonation and fraud risk, including optional ID verification, automated and human content moderation, and a reporting mechanism — but we cannot guarantee every account is who it claims to be.
What we ask of you: treat a "Verified" badge as a helpful signal, not a guarantee; be cautious sharing financial information or agreeing to move in with or meet someone before taking your own reasonable verification steps (a video call, a public first meeting, checking references); never send money outside the Platform's protected payment flows to someone you haven't independently verified, especially in response to urgency or requests to move communication off-platform quickly; report suspicious accounts or messages immediately via the in-app reporting tool or safety@lavndrliving.com.
What Lavndr does: reviews reports of impersonation and fraud and takes action up to permanent account termination; cooperates with law enforcement where required or where we reasonably believe a crime has occurred; continues investing in verification, moderation and safety tooling.
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Lavndr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store and display it for the purpose of operating the Platform. You represent that you have the rights to post your content. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Certain features are paid: identity verification, Priority Access, Feature Listing/Project, coliving listing fees, travel host membership, vacation listing activation, and Professional Directory memberships. All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in your local currency where supported and are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Lavndr does not warrant the identity, intentions or conduct of any user, the accuracy of any listing, or the safety of any in-person meeting, tenancy, homeshare, booking or transaction arranged through the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms, engaged in impersonation or fraud, or created risk to another user's safety. You may request closure of your account at any time by emailing privacy@lavndrliving.com; we will act on your request without undue delay. (Self-service account closure from Settings is planned but not yet available.)
You agree to indemnify Lavndr against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your interactions with other users, to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence if you're an EU/UK consumer. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in advance via the Platform or email.
